Birkenstock launches new store in Ahmedabad

Global footwear brand Birkenstock has launched an exclusive brand outlet in Ahmedabad to bolster its retail presence in Gujarat. Located on the ground floor of the city’s Nexus Ahmedabad One mall, the store highlights the brand’s history and footwear technology.

“Birkenstock, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled comfort, has opened its doors at Nexus Ahmedabad One,” announced the shopping centre on Facebook. “Explore their vast collection of sandals, clogs, and boots, designed to elevate your style while providing exceptional support. Visit Birkenstock today on the ground floor at Nexus Ahmedabad One!”
 
The store has an open façade and its walls are decked in illuminated shelves which showcase Birkenstock’s signature slip on sandals with ergonomic soles. Flip flop and clog style sandals are also available and the outlet has a dedicated seating area and display to showcase its footwear technology. Birkenstock joins footwear labels including Aldo, Crocs, and Bata in the mall.
 
2024 sees Birkenstock celebrate its 250 year anniversary of footwear manufacturing. The brand plans to celebrate by continuing to launch stores across the world, including in India. In April this year, Birkenstock opened its first flagship store in Mumbai. Located on the metro’s Linking Road, the store is spread over an area of 1,600 square meters.
