Global footwear and accessories brand Nine West by Bata aims to reach shoppers across India by launching over 100 styles on Flipkart’s fashion arm Myntra’s e-commerce platform in time for the festive season.
“We are excited to expand our relationship with Myntra with the exclusive online marketplace launch for Nine West,” said Bata India Limited’s vice president and head of e-commerce Sharad Thakur in a press release on September 27. “We’ve crafted this collection as a versatile wardrobe for the modern woman, seamlessly blending elegance and practicality to match a fast-paced urban lifestyle. We’re confident these pieces will transform everyday fashion, empowering women to navigate their day with both confidence and style. We look forward to elevating the shopping experience and making fashion accessible for every occasion.”
The collaboration between Nine West by Bata and Myntra is designed to be a major step toward strengthening the brand’s omni-channel strategy in India. Nine West by Bata’s collection features styles including stilettos, pumps, sling-backs, mules, sandals, flats, and slides with both casual and formal options available.
The new collection is exclusively available on Myntra and aims to use the platform’s pan-India reach to expand its customer base. Bata India, which retails Nine West footwear in India, has a network of over 1,900 company owned and franchise stores and sells close to 50 million pairs of shoes annually.
