The brand sees huge potential for growth through the offline channel and recently opened a flagship store in Broadway’s department store.

In July this year, Nasher Miles had raised $4 million (Rs 33 crore) in a funding round at a valuation of $30 million to fuel its offline expansion.

Commenting on the expansion, Lokesh Daga, co-founder director of Nasher Miles in a statement said, “Our aspiration was always to be an omnichannel brand. After establishing a strong online presence and reaching a scale of Rs 100+ crore, we felt the time was right to expand into offline channels, which still represent the largest segment in our category.”

To strengthen its operations, Nasher Miles has opened a new manufacturing and warehousing facility in Gujarat which is capable of producing over 50,000 units per month.

“This is our first step in a series of many as we look to consolidate our Make in India initiative. The company plans to shift over 75 percent of its production to domestic facilities by the end of the financial year,” Daga added.

Nasher Miles product portfolio includes luggage bags, backpacks, and travel accessories. The brand sells through its website and major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, and Jio Mart.
