E-commerce giant Amazon India has announced September 27 as the launch date for its flagship sale event ‘Great Indian Festival 2024’. The online sale will see a myriad of product launches in categories including fashion and beauty and is designed to celebrate over 14 lakh sellers.
Amazon India will offer 24 hours early access to its sale for its ‘Amazon Prime’ members to promote the service, the business announced in a press release. Shoppers will be able to browse the e-commerce store in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bangla, and Marathi as they shop for discounts and festive essentials.
“The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2024 promises to offer customers a wide selection, brand new product launches, great deals, convenient shopping experience, fast and reliable deliveries, easy and flexible payment options and much more,” said Amazon India’s vice president for categories Saurabh Srivastava in a press release. “We are excited to enhance the festive spirit with our sellers, brand partners, delivery associates, and together we will spread the excitement of festive preparation for millions of households across India. We anticipate a promising festive season and invite customers to join us in our celebration of TaiyaariKaTyohaar!”
The sale event will also extend to Amazon India’s business to business segment Amazon Business. This year, the business has partnered with a range of banks to offer a 10% instant discount with SBI Debit and Credit Cards and Credit EMI and has also reduced its selling fees across multiple product categories to encourage sellers to bolster their product selection for the busy shopping season.
