Fahad Al-Muwallad, who plays for Saudi Pro League club, Al-Shabab, and played for his country at the 2018 World Cup, fell while on a short holiday in the city, police said.

Dubai’s Police General Command said in a statement late on Saturday that an accident occurred while the 30-year-old winger was on the balcony, and they were continuing to investigate.

The force said Al-Muwallad is “in intensive care in one of Dubai’s hospitals, where the efforts of the medical teams continue to provide him with the necessary care.”
