Luggage, bags, and accessories brand Mokobara has opened a store in New Delhi’s Khan Market to bring its pan-India store total to 15. The exclusive brand outlet also brings Mokobara’s Delhi national capital region store total to four.
“Ever since Mokobara ventured into offline retail, we’ve been envisioning and manifesting a store at Khan Market,” wrote the brand’s offline retail executive Ayushi Yadav on Linkedin, sharing images of the store. “Today, I’m beyond thrilled to announce- we have arrived. Getting to be a part of India’s most iconic, vibrant, and not-to-forget the most expensive high street is an indescribable feeling. It’s a testament of how far we’ve come in the last 1.5 years and fuels our excitement for the future.”
The new Mokobara store has a striking yellow façade and curved glass entryway. Inside the outlet, shoppers can browse an array of hard shell suitcases and colourful women’s handbags.
Entrepreneurs Sangeet Agarwal and Navin Parwal launched Mokobara in Bengaluru in 2020 as an online luggage brand. The label made its first foray into brick-and-mortar retail last year and opened its first exclusive brand outlet in Phoenix Marketcity, Bengaluru before launching offline in North India later in the year.
