More than 12,000 stalls have already been booked by over 1,900 companies in the jewellery industry, the GJEPC announced on its website. The trade show will feature product categories including fine jewellery, gemstones, jewellery manufacturing equipment, and other related goods.

The GJEPC has extended the application deadline for the trade show until May 23 to account for holidays and political elections. The traders’ body is also confident that the event will see high visitor footfalls from both India and abroad.

The IIJS is designed to bring together India’s jewellery industry to facilitate networking and business deals. The event is also designed to promote Indian jewellery exports to international wholesalers, importers, and retails among others.

From August 8 to 12, IIJS Premiere will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. From August 9 to 13, the trade show will run concurrently at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in the metro. By holding the trade show across two venues, the GJEPC aims to accommodate the maximum number of exhibitors and trade visitors.
