Eyewear and eye care business Lenskart has launched its first ever brick-and-mortar store dedicated to children’s products. The ‘Kids’ Store’ has opened in New Delhi’s Rohini neighbourhood with a multi-brand selection of frames.
“Embark on a kaleidoscope of fun and fashion,” announced Lenskart on Facebook, sharing a video of the new store. “Dive into our all new, first ever Kids’ Store by Lenskart, where every corner bursts with imagination. From stylish frames to playful services, we’ve got your little trendsetters covered. Let’s journey where every hue tells a tale.”
The store launched with a promotional offer of buy one get one free on all children’s eyewear. Lenskart’s co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal attended the launch and inaugurated the outlet while interacting with its first customers.
The Lenskart Kids’ Store’s interior features rainbow hues and facilities designed to be engaging for children. Both sunglasses and eye glasses are available in the store with the aim of making glasses shopping a fun and engaging experience for parents and children alike.
Lenskart is based in Gurgaon and counts over 2,000 brick-and-mortar stores in India and abroad, according to the business’ website. Founded in 2010, Lenskart has expanded into countries including Singapore and Dubai. The business also retails online through its international e-commerce store.
