Tasva opens new Mumbai store with Ananya Panday

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday inaugurated the new ‘Tasva x Tarun Tahiliani’ store in Mumbai. Located in the city’s Oberoi Mall, the new store retails a selection of traditional attire and accessories for modern Indians.

“Tasva is super special for me, even working for Tarun Tahiliani is special, and I guarantee you, if you shop here, you will also look good,” said Ananya Panday at the store launch, Social News reported. “I feel very comfortable whenever I am dressed by Tarun, and I am sure you will feel the same.” Panday attended the launch event in a white ensemble featuring a sheer waistcoat and loose jumpsuit for a fusion style aesthetic.
 
Tasva has opened a number of brick-and-mortar stores recently as part of its ongoing pan-India retail expansion. In April, the brand launched an exclusive brand outlet in Noida’s Gaur City Mall and has also recently opened stores in Kolkata and Jaipur among other locations.
 
Tasva launched as a men’s clothing brand under the apparel business Indivinity Clothing in 2021 as a partnership between fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani and the Aditya Birla group. The brand retails from a mix of company-owned and franchise outlets and aims to offer classic traditional and occasion wear for the modern Indian man. The business opened its first ever brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru and also retails online through its direct to customer e-commerce store, pursuing an omni-channel expansion strategy.
