Vardhman Textiles reported a 26 percent rise in net profit to Rs 201 crore ($25 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as against Rs 159 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenue for the quarter decline by one percent to Rs 2,459 crore, as against Rs 2,485 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
For the full financial year 2024, the company reported a net profit of Rs 632 crore while its revenue stood at Rs 9,505 crore.
Vardhman Textiles is part of the Vardhman Group that is engaged in the textile industry. The group’s business portfolio includes yarn, fabric, sewing threads, fibre, special alloys, and garment sectors.
Vardhman manufactures high-end premium quality shirts for large retail brands Van Heusen, Benetton, Sisley, and Colorplus, among many others.
