Asa Beauty completes two years, expands premium beauty offering

Clean beauty brand Asa Beauty has completed two years in business and plans to deepen its commitment to sustainable beauty. The brand continues to expand its product offering with a focus on dual use products and recent foray into SPF products with its SPF 15 face stick range.

The brand is increasing its focus on sustainability and has introduced refillable packaging to eliminate packaging waste and encourage repeat purchases, Asa Beauty announced on Facebook. Each woman uses an average of 16 beauty products per day, according to Asa Beauty, which can lead to high amounts of packaging waste but also creates a significant opportunity to reduce that waste. 
 
“Asa is born with a resolve to alter the beauty landscape and familiarise the Indian woman with purposeful luxury that not only celebrates her but also the world we live in,” said brand co-founder Asha Khaitan, Elle India reported.

The brand is currently celebrating ‘Veganuary’, a campaign to promote embracing vegan products in the month of January, Asa Beauty announced on its Facebook page. The brand also recently expanded its line of dual use lip and cheek tints made from avocado oil, grape seed oil, and cocoa seed butter among other natural ingredients. 
 
Mother and daughter duo Asha Khaitan and Sukriti Khaitan launched Asa Beauty with the aim of making luxury cosmetics available at an accessible price point. Asa Beauty uses between 85% and 99% natural ingredients in its beauty products and offers customisation such as names, initials, and messages on its refillable packaging.
