Terractive raises Rs 8 crore in funding round led by Fireside Ventures (#1684201)

Mumbai-based lifestyle activewear brand Terractive has raised Rs 8 crore ($1 million) in a pre-series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures and DeVC (Matrix Partners).

The company will utilise the funds on fabric development, product innovation, and expansion of its retail presence across the country.

Commenting on the funding, Raena Ambani and Rahee Ambani-Choksi, co-founders of Terractive in a statement said, “Our goal has always been to create innovative, high-quality apparel that blends comfort & performance tailored to the needs of the modern India. This funding will empower us to expand our reach and continue pioneering in fabric technology for everyday movement.”

Commenting on the investment, Shuchi Pandya, principal at Fireside Ventures added, “The activewear segment in India is poised for tremendous growth, and Terractive is a brand that stands out with its innovation-led approach. Raena and Rahee’s deep expertise and commitment to delivering products uniquely suited for Indian consumers make this an exciting partnership for us.”

Founded in 2023, Terractive uses fabrics like Terrasoft & Coolknit for its activewear products that include Terrasoft cuddle tees, 365 men’s shorts, and activity skorts.
