Design duo Shantnu and Nikhil Mehra’s Shantnu Nikhil Cricket Club has partnered with celebrity cricket player Harmanpreet Kaur. The brand’s new campaign stars Kaur and further strengthens Shantnu Nikhil Cricket Club’s connections with the world if cricket.
“To celebrate the new edition, we are ecstatic to have Harmanpreet Kaur representing the campaign, in her true sportsperson spirit,” said designers Shantnu and Nikhil Mehra about the campaign, Vogue India reported. “We feel so proud that SNCC is growing phenomenally as a lifestyle conversation, as well as harmonising fashion and cricket like never before.”
In the campaign, Kaur wears a wide selection of looks from the brand’s new collection, ranging from smart casual suits and cropped blazers to shorts and gingham button down shirts. The campaign has gone live on the brand’s Instagram, dedicated to the nascent line.
“I am very glad to see acclaimed designers Shantnu and Nikhil understand the significance of cricket in our country and amalgamate their aesthetics with the sport,” said Kaur about the collaboration, Vogue India reported. “It’s a proud feeling to feature in the second edition of Shantnu Nikhil Cricket Club, which feels like my own style come alive.”
The young brand has worked with cricket players before and signed cricketer Shubman Gill to endorse its designs in November last year, FashionNetwork.com reported. The brand had launched earlier that same month as a bridge-to-luxury label and it retails from S&N Shantnu Nikhil stores and on its e-commerce website.
