Beauty business Recode Studios plans to open five new brick-and-mortar stores by the end of July to reach shoppers across India. Two of the upcoming stores will be located in New Delhi and the other three will be located in Gurugram, Bilaspur, and Chhattisgarh.
Recode Studios has a revenue target of Rs 50 crore for the current financial year and aims to boost its revenue by opening a total of 20 new stores this fiscal, India Retailing reported. The business retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store, which has a live shopping feature, and its brick-and-mortar stores across India which are designed to boost brand awareness and enable shoppers to try out products in person.
“Our mission has always been to provide a diverse range of quality beauty products to our customers,” said Recode Studios’ founder Dheeraj Bansal, India Retailing reported. “With the opening of these new stores, we are excited to bring the Recode experience to even more people, empowering them to look and feel their best.”
Recode Studios has recently launched a number of new products for the summer season, the brand announced on Facebook. These include a sunscreen containing carrot and raspberry oil and a line of waterproof gel eyeliners.
Dheeraj Bansal launched Recode Studios in 2018 as a beauty and personal care brand designed to appeal to young Indians. The business currently counts over 30 stores across large Indian cities and recently opened two new franchise operated stores in New Delhi and Mumbai.
