Woman’s ethnic wear brand Rangita reported a 6.5 times increase in its clothing sales during the festive season. The cities of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai enjoyed especially strong sales to make up 34% of the brand’s total festive sales.
Stellaro Brands’ Rangita saw an uptick in orders for both its occasion wear line priced from Rs 900 to Rs 1,200 and its day wear collection, priced from Rs 500 to Rs 700, India Retailing reported. The brand launched a collection of clothing designed for the Karva Chauth festival and reported that its kurtas and kurta sets proved to be the most popular product category and made up 40% of total sales.
“Our focus on understanding the evolving preferences of our consumer base has enabled us to curate a collection that resonates deeply with the essence of traditional Indian celebrations while infusing a modern touch,” said Stellaro Brands’ director Manish Ahlawat, India Retailing reported.
The brand recently launched a range of new designs for the Diwali season including bright, sparkling kurtas and patterned anarkalis, Rangita Ethnic announced on Facebook. The collection also features bold chiffon sarees and micro blouses.
Rangita retails online on a number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Ajio, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Myntra, and Tata Cliq. Rangita is run by Stellaro Brands which is a subsidiary of Snapdeal, YourStory reported.
