Nicobar opens first store in Chandigarh

Premium apparel, accessories, and lifestyle brand Nicobar has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Chandigarh. The boutique opened with an interactive launch event and is located on the city’s Madhya Marg.

“We kicked off our new store in Chandigarh with The Singleton Social and an immersive conversation about about the intersection of travel, design and crafting memorable experiences,” announced Nicobar on Facebook, sharing images of the store’s opening event. “In conversation with the always thoughtful Gul Panag alongside our co-founders Raul Rai and Simran Lal Rai, ideas, stories, and creativity took centre stage for a night of design, community, and a glimpse into what makes Nicobar tick.”
 
The new Nicobar store houses men’s and women’s apparel and accessories as well as jewellery and home décor. The expansive outlet is decorated with abstract artwork, natural wood furniture, and metal clothing rails with plants bringing in a natural element.
 
For the festive season, Nicobar has launched a jewellery collection featuring sculptural, fusion style designs. The collection includes the statement ‘sunburst gold earrings’ and ‘Elaichi Bracelet and Elaichi Danglers’ set as well as large, moon shaped ear cuffs and studs and sunburst chokers. Created for festive gifting, the collection has launched across Nicobar’s brick-and-mortar stores and on its direct to customer e-commerce store.
