Melorra launches India’s first gender fluid fine jewellery collection

Direct-to-consumer jewellery brand Melorra has launched what it claims to be India’s first-ever gender fluid fine jewellery collection.

The collection offers a wide range of jewellery pieces in 22kt, 18kt and 14kt variations at a starting price range of Rs 20,000 ($240).

With this collection, the brand aims to dissolve the boundaries of gender with respect to jewellery alinging with the global trend of gender neutrality.

Commenting on the launch, Deepshikha Gupta, senior vice president design at Melorra in a statement said, “Out of the weekly launches, the gender fluid collection is certainly one of them that will create a positive impact on the society. The collection is a celebration of breaking the gender stereotypes by not catering to any specific gender, rather designed to be embraced by all genders.”

“Through this collection, we aim to challenge norms and create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and celebrated,” she added.

The new collection will be available for purchase on the Melorra app and experience centres across 12 cities pan India.
