“We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our 14th store in the heart of the UAE, located at City Centre Deira,” wrote Lenskart’s associate vice president for retail Mahmoud Elfeky on Linkedin. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible #DCCLeasingTeam for their unwavering support and dedication in making this milestone a reality. Thank you for helping us bring our vision to life. Join us as we celebrate this momentous occasion and experience retail redefined at our stunning new location.”
Lenskart joins brands including Next, Biba, Dunkin Doughnuts, Crocs, Cotton:On, and Kiko Milano among others in the mall. City Centre Deira was established in 1995 as the flagship mall of the Majid Al Futtaim Properties portfolio, according to its website.
Based in Gurugram, Lenskart retails across India as well as in the UAE and Singapore. At the end of 2023, the brand announced plans to expand into Thailand and then the Philippines. Lenskart opened its first UAE store in 2021 to cater to both non-resident Indians in the region and locals.
