Kartik Aaryan is currently busy with his upcoming movie Chandu Champion. As he’s filming for the movie, the actor recently dropped a picture that intrigued many. The actor announced that he will be fighting a World Championship, allegedly for his movie. Read on for more details.
Kartik Aaryan to fight World Champion Sena Agbeko in Chandu Champion
After sharing screen with Kiara Advani in Satyaprem Ki Katha, Kartik Aaryan got shooting for his first movie of the year Chandu Champion. Making a special announcement for the movie, the actor took to social media and shared a photo with boxing world champion Sena Agbeko. Looking at his post, it looks like he is gearing to fight Agbeko in his upcoming movie.
Calling his a ‘Happy Beast’, Kartik penned, “Gonna fight this Happy Beast tomorrow. @assassi_nation I hope he doesn’t remove his anger of The World Championship fight on me. #ChanduChampion.”

In the photo, the Shehzada actor can be seen donning a pair of neon yellow shorts with matching ganji, looking ripped and muscular. Along with him is Sena Agbeko in his sportswear and a couple of other men. They can be seen having a good laugh while standing inside a studio room.
Kartik Aaryan’s work front
Back in 2011, an aspiring engineer from Gwalior made his acting debut with Luv Ranjan’s film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. He immediately became the heartthrob of B-town and worked in several other movies. But only when he returned with the sequel of his debut movie, he tasted success again. Then came movies like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, among others that got him fame. Last year, he was seen in multiple movies namely Shehzada (which he also produced), Satyaprem Ki Katha, and a cameo in Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
His upcoming sports drama film Chandu Champion is written and directed by Kabir Khan. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie is led by Kartik while actors like Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, and Adonis Kapsalis will be seen in supporting roles. It will be theatrically released on June 14.
