The development was received with strong reactions from netizens on the internet, and amidst all this, the filmmaker dropped a cryptic note on his Instagram handle.
Today, on October 27, Karan Johar took to his Instagram stories and shared a cryptic note that read, “Competition happens at the bottom. The people at the top are collaborating.”

After the significant development, Jaaved Jaaferi had a hilarious reaction as he shared a post on his X and jokingly word played Johar’s iconic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and announced Dharma Productions’ next as “Next film: Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Serum.”
Reacting to the post, fans also continued the banter, with one user stating, “Vaccine ke baad se Kuch Kuch Hota Hai…” while another quipped, “Covi Khushi… Covi Gham.” However, hours after sharing the tweet, Jaaved deleted it.
