E-commerce giant Flipkart has teamed up with Bollywood comedians Jackie Shroff and Archana Puran Singh to launch its latest advertising campaign titled ‘Har need ke liye best deals’. The campaign focuses on deals and value shopping to present Flipkart as a destination for online bargains.
Flipkart has launched a set of two ad films to reach shoppers in multiple languages, the business announced in a press release. The business’ new commercials are designed to appeal to bargain hunters across India and tap into the demand for branded yet affordable fashion and electronics goods.
“At Flipkart, we have always focused on creating an experience that unlocks the greatest value for every single shopper for all their shopping occasions,” said Flipkart’s vice president of marketing Dushyanth Jayanty in a press release. “Our customer understanding is one of our deepest strengths, and ‘Har need ke liye best deals’ is a light-hearted recreation of the joy of getting a great deal. Archana Puran Singh and Jackie Shroff bring this message to life in their inimitable style, and the signature dance move is guaranteed to make viewers shake a leg!”
The commercials were conceptualised by advertising agency Leo Burnett with creative direction by Reya Reji and Zeeshan Shaikh. The business also worked with production house Tubelight Films and director Prashant Issar.
“This Flipkart campaign was just pure fun to make,” said Leo Burnett’s group executive creative director Mayuresh Dubhashi. “Our job was just to bring forth the ultimate human joy someone can feel when they find something absolutely great, like the mind-boggling deals and so much more.”
