  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornflour, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the cornflour, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan for frying. Dip the marinated chicken pieces into the cornflour mixture and deep-fry them until they are crispy and golden brown. Remove them from the oil and set them aside.
