Barcelona launches loyalty card to encourage repeat customers amid expansion

Menswear brand Barcelona has launched its first ever loyalty card programme for its customers. The card is designed to build brand loyalty as Barcelona continues its ambitious expansion across India.

“Introducing the ‘Barca Loyalty Card’,” announced Barcelona on Facebook on July 4. “Now you can enjoy benefits every time you shop, and the best part of the Barca Loyalty Card is that you will receive five exclusive free t-shirts upon purchase of the card. Exciting, isn’t it? The Barca Loyalty Card is now available at all Barcelona stores near you!”
 
Barcelona has a retail presence in over 70 cities and is expanding swiftly, planning to reach a store count of 400 this financial year. The brand has recently opened stores in locations including Goa, Pune, Visnagar, Bhopal, Nawada, Dapoli, Kota, and Mahoba among others. 

The brand is also gearing up to launch an initial public offering in the near future. The brand received a Rs 5 crore equity-free capital investment from GetVantage in April this year and plans to use the funding to fuel its continued brick-and-mortar expansion across India. 

Entrepreneur Jaimin Gupta launched Barcelona in Ahmedabad in 2015. The brand specialises in men’s western wear including denim and polo shirts as well as semi formal wear and accessories.
