Apparel Group’s fashion brand R&B has opened its second brick-and-mortar store to date in Kerala’s Calicut (Kozhikode). The store is also the brand’s tenth store in India overall and opened its doors inside the city’s Gokulam Galleria Mall.
“The wait is finally over, Calicut,” announced R&B India on Facebook. “Today is the day we open the doors to our brand new store. Shop worth Rs 1,500 and get free merchandise worth Rs 750.” The store joins R&B’s first Calicut store in the city’s HiLite Mall.
Earlier in July, R&B opened a new store in Bengaluru’s Phoenix Marketcity Mall, the brand announced on Facebook, sharing a video of the spacious outlet. The new stores both retail clothing and accessories for men, women, and children in a range of styles.
“We are delighted to announce the opening of Apparel Group brand R&B’s newest store in Gokulam Galleria Mall, making it the second store in Calicut, and the tenth in India,” wrote the business on Linkedin. R&B stands for ‘Rare and Basics’ and the brand also retails footwear, inner wear, and gift items.
R&B was launched by retail giant Apparel Group in 2012 in Oman. Today, the brand counts approximately 70 stores in India and the Middle East and also retails from its e-commerce store.
