Personal care brand Dabur announced that it has successfully completed its cloud migration to enhance its commercial resilience and elevate the customer experience. The business now describes itself as the inaugural Indian Fast Moving Consumer Goods Cloud-Only Enterprise.
Dabur has transitioned its operations to an exclusively cloud-based framework, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. This enables the business to manage its company processes more comprehensively and increase efficiency as well as transparency.
The business now has the ability to access real-time data insights through its digital infrastructure which should enable it to continue to ameliorate its operations at a faster pace. The move is also connected to Dabur’s plan to reduce its carbon emissions and achieve Net Zero status by the year 2045.
Following its cloud migration, Dabur is confident that it will see swift innovation in terms of developing new products and services. This should improve the overall customer experience, according to Dabur’s chief information officer Kaustubh Dabral.
Dabur runs a wide range of beauty, health, wellness, and food brands with products including hair oils, toothpastes, soaps, toners, and natural beauty products among others. The multinational business was founded by S K Burman, is headquartered in Ghaziabad, and is one of India’s largest FMCG companies.
