Skyball, a consumer electronics brand has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its range of smartwatches to enter the booming smartwatch segment in India.

The brand sees huge growth potential in this segment and eyeing a revenue of Rs 40 crore ($5 million) in the current year.

Skyball will enter the segment with five smartwatch models this year and target consumers in the affordable premium products segment with its price range of Rs 1,999 to Rs 4,499.

Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Gupta, chairman managing director at Skyball in a statement said, “Our vision for Skyball is to provide customers with premium, feature-rich smartwatches that offer great value for money. We have carefully designed and developed Skyfit Elevate and Skyfit Rigor to exceed expectations and cater to the diverse needs of our customers.”

“We have exciting plans for the festive season and have lined up several new products across categories. With advanced features and an affordable price point, we are confident that Skyball will emerge as a popular brand among consumers,” he added.

With this launch, Skyball aims to achieve a sales volume of 100,000 units within the smartwatch category this year.
